Yesterday, Lisa and I went for a long, long walk on the
Capital Crescent Trail in DC. It goes from Georgetown to Silver Spring, Maryland, and it makes you forget you're still in the city. In the summer it's beautifully green, and the water is sprinkled with kayakers. In the winter, there are fewer walkers and bikers, and the clothes you have to wear to stay warm make you look like marshmallow people. But it's a great escape. A few pictures below.
